Who we are
Breeze Underwriting Limited was set up in Colchester in 2006 as a trading style of Carroll & Partners to underwrite on delegated binding authorities.
Due to the success and growth of Breeze, we became a separate limited company in 2014 operating as an appointed representative of Carroll & Partners until February 2018, at which point we obtained our own FCA registration.
In 2024, we were acquired by the Ardonagh Group and we are working on joining their MGA business, Geo Underwriting Services Limited. Geo brings its expertise as well as access to its specialisms to Breeze clients.
How we operate
We operate with four delegated authority arrangements, all with A-rated security which accommodate a multitude of trades, from one-man bands, through to large commercial clients.
We hold about 6000 policies with a GWP of circa £20m.
The classes of business that can be written on our in-house binders include: Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Employers Liability, Public/Products Liability, Contractors All Risks and Excess of Loss.
We have long-standing relationships with all our binder providers and over the years we have generated a great deal of trust and respect with insurers.
